Setup

Step 1 of 4

40 × 30 m · attacking halfGK1324

Playing left to right. Striker (2) between the mannequins, third man (3) deeper, winger (4) wide. Ball starts with (1).

Coaching points

  • The pass into feet must be firm — a soft ball kills the one-touch set.
  • Third man times the run: start moving while the first pass travels.
  • Winger holds width until the set-back — don't drift inside early.
  • Cross low and across the keeper to the far post.

Progressions

  • Harder Add a passive defender tracking the third man; two-touch limit everywhere.
  • Easier Walk through the pattern without mannequins; unlimited touches.
