    Pass, Receive and Connect

A 51-minute session of drill time (allow a little extra to mark out each area in turn) for one group of six or seven players. It teaches players to set their body before the ball arrives, receive on the foot that helps the next pass, and keep moving after they play, building from paired passing in a shared grid, through receiving with a purpose, to choosing a safe route when defenders screen the pass.

    Beat, Turn and Finish

A 50-minute session of drill time (allow a little extra to mark out each area in turn) for one group of 8 to 12 players that teaches them to beat a defender with one clear change of direction, turn away from a close defender, and finish with composure. It moves from a defender who becomes active after the first change of direction, to receiving with a passive defender close by, to a live duel in a narrow channel with two goals to attack.

    Read, Decide and Respond

A 55-minute session of drill time (allow a little extra to mark out each area in turn) for one group of six or seven players: a rondo and three small-sided games that keep the ball against pressure, choose between carrying and shooting, find a safe pass straight after winning the ball, and defend by closing the central route.
